Idaho Power contracts with suppliers across a variety of industries to provide goods and services to our customers.

If you’re interested in becoming an Idaho Power approved supplier (of either goods or services), please register in our supplier management system, Zycus Supplier Network (ZSN). After registering, you will be contacted by Idaho Power if your company is selected to participate in a bid event.

What You Should Know

General Expectations

All suppliers doing business with Idaho Power are also expected to comply with Idaho Power’s Supplier Code of Conduct, as well as be familiar with our General Terms and Conditions Goods for Services. In addition, construction contractors should be familiar with our General Conditions for Construction Services.

Insurance Requirements

Idaho Power requires suppliers to have the following minimum insurance amounts and adhere to the requirements listed below. Idaho Power reserves the right to modify limits and require additional insurance for specific projects.

Required if providing services such as architectural, design, engineering, construction management or other professional consulting services. Required for work or services that include the cleanup, removal, storage, disposal or otherwise handling of hazardous or toxic chemicals, materials, substances or any other pollutants. Required for work that includes the use of a fixed wing aircraft, rotorcraft aircraft or watercraft. Required if providing any type of IT services, such as software; software or hardware systems development or consulting services; internet/application services (e.g., web hosting); providing content; or connecting to our network(s). *The above limits may be satisfied by any combination of primary and excess coverage.

Requirements:

If subcontractors are used in the performance of any work or services, subcontractors must comply with the same insurance requirements imposed on a vendor.

Idaho Power, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees must be added as Additional Insureds on General and Automobile Liability policy. If applicable, Pollution Liability shall be included.

Waiver of Subrogation in favor of Idaho Power, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees under the General Liability, Automobile Liability and Workers’ Compensation policies. If applicable, Pollution Liability shall be included.

Vendor’s General and Automotive Liability policies shall be deemed primary and non-contributory with respect to coverage extended to the Additional Insured.

Insurer(s) must have an AM Best rating of A- and FSC Class VIII or higher.

State Registration Requirements

All Idaho Power contractors and suppliers must meet all applicable government registration requirements and comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Suppliers contracting with Idaho Power to perform work or services in the state of Idaho must be registered to do business with the Idaho Secretary of State. To the extent work or services will performed in the state of Oregon, contractors and suppliers must be registered to do business with the Oregon Secretary of State.

In accordance with Idaho State Code, Title 54, Ch. 52, all construction contractors performing work in the state of Idaho must register with the State of Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses.
